About Us
The Presbyterian Counseling Center was established in 1979 by the far-sighted vision of a handful of Presbyterians in Wilmington. Through the years the Center has continually deepened its roots in the community. In addition to decades of counseling services, the Center has been a resource for churches and community organizations with educational programs and consulting services.
In 1994, the Center moved to its present
location on Wrightsville Avenue. Our facility is a welcoming building, and is comfortably designed specifically to accommodate clients.
The Center’s ministry expanded to Brunswick County in 2005 with satellite offices at the Shallotte Presbyterian Church and St. Philip’s Episcopal Church (Southport). Beginning in 2009, another satellite office was established at the Topsail Presbyterian Church in Hampstead. All our offices offer privacy.
The Center’s Counselors are professionals with long, rich experience. They enjoy an excellent reputation in the community because they have made it a priority to offer quality, faith-centered counseling services.
